Mike's Notes: I found this game to have almost all the qualities of a simulation (world-building, in this case) that I enjoy. It's got humor, detail, terrific graphics, good management and more. Like many simulations, though, it lacks a real "winnable goal", other than be the best you can be. Recommended.

Mike's Notes: Another winner by New World Computing. Although nothing really new here, it's still an environment you can get involved in. Die hard RPG fans will enjoy the quest, the vast areas of exploration and the better-than-usual dungeon encounters. The game just feels good even though there's nothing spectacular.

Mike's Notes: I was an APBA fan long before they became computerized. Statistically, APBA has never been the top baseball sim, but I enjoy the possible variance from a cut and dried seasonal replay. This title has it all: team, player and league creation, MLB replay capability, full draft and league management (autoscheduling, autoplay, personal or AI team mgmt), full player management (injuries, fatigue, etc.) and much, much more. Warning: this is NOT a graphics-based sim where you control on-screen motor skills; you have full control of all decisions inherent to baseball management and day-to-day or seasonal play in a text based environment. The statistics compiler for this title is by far the best and most comprehensive I have ever seen in a computer game.
